RESOLUTION NO. 2061
August 8, 1972, recommended to the City Council that the tentative
map for Carlsbad Tract 72-23, Alta Mira, be approved: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the
15th day of August, 1972, considered the recommendation of the
Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad that the City Council does hereby approve said
tentative map for Carlsbad Tract 72-23, Alta Mira, comprised of

~ performed by the owner:
1. Lowder Lane shall be improved full width from its
southerly terminus to the southerly boundary of the tract according t
a schedule as approved by the City Engineer.
2. Drainage facilities shall be constructed in accordance
with City standards. Satisfactory easements shall be granted to the
City for those drainage facilities draining public streets. Sheet
flow shall not be permitted onto adjacent private lots.
3. Water system installation shall be in accordance with
CMWD or City standards and requirements whichever are higher.
4. Fire hydrants and fire protection appurtenances shall be
installed as required by the Fire Department.
5. Public improvements shall be designed in accordance with
the City of Carlsbad‘s Standard Design Criteria. Final design, I

including drainage, shall be subject to the approval of the City
Engineer.

6. All utilities shall be placed underground and no overhead
poles or lines shall be permitted.
7. All-weather unpaved access shall be provided to all
manholes and cleanouts.
b) Each dwelling shall be designed to facilitate the future installation of signal cable.

8. The developer shall take action as necessary to insure
that the City has prior rights superior to any other easement holder
within dedicated streets.
9. Separate storage for trailers, campers, and boats shall
be provided.
10. The final map shall show that lot 7 is not a condominium
lot.
lq. Streets A and B shall be dedicated as public streets and

14. The subdivider shall furnish the U.S. Post Office, Carlsba
California, with a copy of the final map for Carlsbad Tract 72-23.
15. Complete plans and specifications shall be submitted as
required for checking and approval before construction of any
improvement is commenced.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed

to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail,
addressed to the subdivider at his address as shown on the
tentative map.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 15th day of August, 1972, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
NOES : None.
ABSENT: None.
