RESOLUTION No. 2079
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD COMMENDING JACK E. JARDINE.
WHEREAS, JACK E. JARDINE has served the City of Carlsbad
vith loyalty and devotion for eight years as a City Councilman,
ind
WHEREAS, during those years, he gave unstinting effort on
:ouncil Committees, directing his many talents to the benefit of
3ur community, such efforts producing the Quarterly Newsletter,
qelping to resolve the myriad problems attendant to the Jefferson
Street Interchange, developing a viable refuse collection system,
dorking closely with the Parks and Recreation Commission for many
years, as well as the Audit and Finance Committee, and
WHEREAS, JACK E. JARDINE has diligently and faithfully
3ischarged the duties of the office of City Councilman and
Aemonstrated a high degree of personal loyalty and service to the
Eity, its residents and its objectives,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
:ity of Carlsbad does hereby extend its grateful appreciation to
JACK E. JARDINE for his conscientious devotion of time, energy
2nd great ability to the many projects and problems confronting
the growing City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 5th day of September 1972, by the
following vote, to wit:
