A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS
R-1 (SINGLE FAMILY) TO P-C (PLANNED COMMUNITY) ON APPROXIMATELY 2.6 ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED EASTERLY OF AND ADJACENT TO EL CAMINO REAL, APPROXIMATELY 450 FEET SOUTHERLY OF THE
INTERSECTION OF CHESTNUT AVENUE AND EL CAMINO REAL.
APPLICANT: ROBERT KEVANE.
AND DECISION ON A CHANGE OF ZONE (ZC-130) FROM
WHEREAS, a duly advertised public hearing was held in a
manner prescribed by law before the Planning Commission to consider
a request for a Change of Zone from R-1 (Single Family Residence)
to P-C (Planned Community) on approximately 2.6 acres of land
generally located easterly of and adjacent to El Camino Real,
approximately 450 feet southerly of the intersection of Chestnut
Avenue and El Camino Real. Said property is more particularly
described as:
Rancho Agua Hedionda Map Book 208, page 01, Parcels 24 and 25, being a portion of Lot J of Rancho Agua Hedionda, in the County of San
Diego, State of California, according to
Partition Map No. 823.
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of said hearing, the Planning
Commission of the City of Carlsbad adopted Resolution No. 992,
recommending said zone change which is herewith referred to and
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on December - 4th , 1973, the City Council
held a public hearing on the matter, received all recommendations
and heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed
change of zone;
WHEREAS, said application has complied with the require-
ments of the City of Carlsbad "Environmental Protection Ordinance
of 1972";
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the findings of the Planning Commission contained
n the Resolution No. 992 constitute the findings of the Carlsbad
ity Council.
3. That the approval of the proposed change of zone classi-
ication is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Title 21
f the Municipal Code.
4. That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad intends
o adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the CitJ
ouncil on the 4th
