A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A MASTER PLAN
FOR 60 ACRES OF LAND, LOCATED TO THE EAST OF
LOWDER LANE, AND MIDWAY BETWEEN PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD AND POINSETTIA LANE, TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION
UNITS BY PACESETTER HOIAES. INC. OF 351 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL AND CONDOMINIUM
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad did
on the 27th day of November, 1973, hold a duly advertised public
hearing as prescribed by law, to consider a request by Pacesetter
Homes, Inc. for approval of a Master Plan to allow construction of
351 single family residential and condominium units on property
described as:

of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972". An Envi-
ronmental Impact Report was filed and discussed at a duly noticed
public hearing held by the Planning Commission and the City Council
and was approved as presented; and

Base and Meridian, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof, No. 2013 filed in the office of the County
Recorder of San Diego County, State of California.
consider the proposed Waster Plan, and after hearing and consider-
ing the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to
be heard, said Council did find the following facts and reasons
present which in their opinion are necessary to carry out the
general purpose of Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code:
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of said hearing, the Planning
Commission adopted Resolution No. 1010 recommending adoption of

WHEREAS, the applicant has met the requirements of the "City

1. The proposed development will be consistent with surrounding land use.
2. The revised densit,y is in conformance with the adopted General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the findings of the Planning Commission contained
in the Resolution No. 1010 constitute the findings of the Carlsbad
City Counci 1.
3. That the approval of the proposed Master Plan is
necessar.y to carry out the general purpose of Title 21 of the
~lunicip2:l Code.
4. That the Master Plan detailed in Planning Commission
Resolution No. 1010 is hereby approved subject to all the condition
set out in said resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City

following vote, to wit:
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
NOES : None.
