RESOLUTION NO. -3365
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 3290, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION, BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 11, ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR ELECTION OFFICERS, FEE FOR RENTAL OF POLLING PLACES, AND COMPENSATION
FOR CUSTODIAN OF BUILDING WHEN REQUIRED.

WHEREAS, On December 4, 1973, the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad adopted Resolution No. 3290, calling and giving
notice of the holding of a General Municipal Election to be held
in said City on Tuesday, the '5th day of March, 1974; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the compensation of the
persons appointed as election officers be established, as well as
the rental for the polling places and the compensation of the
custodian of a building when required.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER that Section 11 be added,
which section shall read as follows:
"SECTION 11. That the compensation of the persons named
as election officers is hereby fixed at the sum of Twenty-four
Dollars ($24.00) for each Inspector and Twenty Dollars ($20.00)
for each Judge and Clerk for said election. The rental for each
of such polling places, where a charge is made, shall be the sum
of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) for said election. When required, the
compensation of the Custodian of a building shall be Fifteen
Dollars ($15.00) for said election."
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the
, 1974, by the 37th day of F e h r u a r y City Council held on
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilnen Vunne, FlcComas and Frazee.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Counci lren Lev!; s and
