A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHOIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. 1054 FOR ASPHALTIC CONCRETE OVERLAY
OF VARIOUS CITY STREETS
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for asphaltic
concrete overlay of various City streets, Contract No. 1054; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this contract was submitted by Sully
Miller Contracting Co., of Oceanside, in the amount of $103,335.12; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $100,000 were authorized in fiscal year
1977-78 for this project; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are available in the Gas Tax Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
I. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The low bid of $103,335.12 by Sully Miller Contracting Co. of Ocean-
side for Contract No. 1054 for asphaltic concrete overlay of various City
streets is hereby accepted, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute a contract therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
~ the City of Carlsbad held the 20th day of June , 1978, by the following
1 vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
ABSENT : None
