Home My WebLink About1979-05-01; City Council; Resolution 57653 x 5 c 4 F % e r 1 I 5 1c 11 12 12 14 15 1E l'i 1E 19 2c 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 5 76'5 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF1 THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5723, CALLING AND GIVING N3TICE OF THE HOLDING OF A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, THE 5TH DAY OF JUNE, 1979 ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DOES 3EREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, AS FOLLOWS : SECTION 1. Yunicipal Election, there shall be and are hereby established twenty-one (21) voting precincts consisting of consolidations 3f the Regular Election Precincts in the City of Carlsbad, established for the holding of State and County elections, as said Regular Election Precincts exist on the date of adoption of this Resolution. That the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places hereinafter designated; and that the persons hereinafter named, being competent and qualified electors and residents of said City and of their respective voting precincts , are hereby appointed officers of election for their respecting voting precincts and th'ey shall hold said election and make return thereof in the manner provided by law. The polling places and the persons appointed as election officers are shown on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof. That for the purpose of holding said Special I SECTION 2. That the compensation of the persons herein- sefore named as election officers is hereby fixed at the sum of Thirty-Five Dollars for each Inspector and Thirty Dollars for each Judge and Clerk for said election. The rental for each of such polling places, where a charge is made, ~ shall be the sum I I. When required, the compensation of the Custodian of a building shall be Fifteen Dollars for said election. SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
