WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held by the
City Council on August 18, 1981 to consider the matter at which
time all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed
Conditional Use Permit were heard and the decision of the
Planning Commission considered.
WHEREAS, the City Council, after considering all
relevant factors in this matter, makes the following findings:
5)
That, as conditioned, all of the yards, setbacks, walls,
fences, landscaping and other features necessary to adjust the requested uses to existing or perimitted future uses in the neighborhood will be provided and maintained and, there- fore, the Conditional Use Permit will not be detrimental to surrounding areas. Specifically, walls will be provided
along all interior property lines, a heavily landscaped set-
back will be provided on Stratford Lane, all lighting will be directed away from adjoining property and substantial land- scaping will be provided in the parking area.
That the street system serving the proposed uses is adequate to properly handle all traffic generated by the proposed use since all access will be taken from Laguna Drive.
That the site for the intended uses is adequate in size and
shape to accommodate these uses.
That this Conditional Use Permit will allow temporary use of the properties until permanent expansion of City Hall is com- pleted.
