RESOLUTION NO. 6,991
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
AND SAN DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF GOVERPJMEHTS
FOR PROVIDING TRAFFIC ENGINEERING SERVICES.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. That certain agreement between the City of Carlsbad
and San Diego Association of Governments for providing traffic
engineering services, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized
and directed to execute said agreement forandon behalf of the
City of Carlsbad.

WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad (City) requires the services of a part- time traffic engineer; and
WKEREAS, the San Diego Association of Cbverments (SWAG) has offered to supply such services, the parties hereunto agree as follows:
SANDAG shall supply the services of traffic engineer acceptzhle to the
City on th? basis of 12 hours a week at a not-to-exceed cost of $21.85 per
hour. and shall prepare staff reports, supply traffic engineering expertise and
review of traffic engineering related problems, observe and report on traffic
problans md complaints, and work in close coordination with City staff to
provide spcialized traffic advice.
