HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-04-19; City Council; Resolution 71971 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 7197 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FROM THE CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO THE MAINTENANCE DIVISION BUDGET. WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad desires to appropriate $4,400 for four City entrance signs and $7,000 for 35 community directional signs: and WHEREAS, there are no funds available in the Maintenance Division budget to accommodate this sign program: and WHEREAS, funds are available from the City Council's contingency account to support this program, decreasing the contingency account #01-1950-2470 by $11,400 from $707,657 to $696,257: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad that said appropriation of funds is hereby approved and shall be transferred to account #01-5110-2665 in the Maintenance budget. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 19th day of April , 1983, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: NOES: None ABSENT: "-e Council Mrs Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Prescott ABSTAIN : ATTEST : (SEAL)
