RESOLUTION NO. 7224
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND PROVIDING
FUNDS FOR A SUPPLEMENTARY AGREEMENT FOR McDANIEL
ENGINEERING COMPANY.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. That the certain agreement between McDaniel Engineering
Company and the City, dated January 8, 1981, is amended by the
provision of the attached supplemental agreement.
2. That certain agreement between the State and the City is
modified by the attached supplement.
3. The Mayor is authorized to execute the documents upon
behalf of the City.
4. Monies available in Account No. 14-18-40-3141 in the
amount of $13,402 are hereby appropriated, with reimbursement
expected upon demand of the State.
5. The Consultant agrees that no further claim for
additional reimbursement is warranted under the existing contract
as modified.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meetin of the City
my Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 17th day of ¶
1983, by the following vote, to wit:

SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT
1. The Consultant shall prepare two contract document packages consisting of plans, specifications, and estimates to allow for separate bidding in accordance with the following schedule:
Roadway (FAU)
1. Complete Design May 1, 1983. 2. CALTRANS Review and Funding June - July, 1983.
3. City Advertisement - August, 1983. 4.. Start Construction of Roadway - September, 1983.
Bridge (HBBR)
1. Complete Design July 1, 1983.
2. CALTRANS Review and Funding August - September, 1983. 3. City Advertisement October, 1983. 4. Start Construction November, 1983.
The Consultant shall be entitled to the addition of $6,582 (as authorized by CALTRANS) to the original lump sum amount for the above work and conformance to the contract.
An additional amount of $6,820 is payable (as authorized by CALTRANS) for delays in contract completion. The Consultant agrees that no further claims for extra work will be made.
