RESOLUTION NO. 7289
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO VACATE PORTIONS OF WALNUT AND LINCOLN AVENUES.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby
declares its intentions to proceed, under the provisions of
Public Streets, Highways, and Service Easement Vacation Law of
1981, to vacate portions of Walnut and Lincoln Avenues, located
in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of
California, particularly described on Exhibit A.
2. A public hearing shall be held at the City Council
Chambers at 1200 Elm Avenue, Carlsbad, California, at 6:OO PM
on August 2, 1983, for the purpose of hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 19th day of ~uly , 1983, by the
following vote, to wit:

described as follows:
A 10 foot strip of land being that portion of Lincoln Street
lying Northeasterly of, together with that portion of Wainut Avenue lying Southeasterly of the following described line:
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of Tract 220 of said Map
1681; thence, South 55O27' West along the prolongation of the
Southeasterly line of said Tract 220 a distance of 10.00 feet to a 2oint on a line which is parallel with and 10.00 feet measured at' 90 to the Southwesterly line of said Tract 220; thence, North
34'33' West along said parallel line and the prolongation thereof
210 feet to a point on a line which is parallel with and 10.00
feet Northwesterly measured at 90". to the common Northwesterly line of said Tract 220 and Tract 224 of said Map 1681; thence,
North 55'27' East along said Northwesterly parallel line 450
feet; thence, South 34"33' East 10.00 feet to the most Northerly
corner of said Tract 224 and the Point of Termination.
Excepting therefrom the following described parcels of land.

COMMEMCING at the above described most Southerly corner of Tract
220; thence, South 55"27' West 10.00 feet; thence, North 34"33'
West 185.00 to Point. I'B"; thence, continuing North 34"33" West
25.00 feet to a point on the above described Northwesterl-y
parallel line; thence, North 55"27' East 425.00 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING; thence, continuing along said Northwesterly parallel line 25.00 feet thence leaving said parallel line South
34"33' East 25.00 feet to a Point of Cusp of a 25 foot radius
curve concave Southerly; thence, Westerly along the arc of said
curve through a central angle of 90" a distance of 39.27 feet to
the TTiUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Parcel B
Beginning zt the above described Point "3"; thence, North 3Q033'
West 25.00 to a point on the above described Northwesterly
parallel line; thence, North 55O27' East along said parallel line
25-00 feet to a Point of Cusp of a 25 foot radius curve concave Easterly; thence, leaving said parallel line and Southerly along
the arc of said curve through a central angle of 90" a distance
of 39.27 feet to said Point "B". An easement -for all utility pur- poses is excepted from this vacation.
