A R~SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITF OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE1 CLASSIFICATION PLAN OF THE CITY TO ADD1 THE CLASSIFICATION OF SENIOR RECEP- TIO~IST CASHIER AND TO REVISE THE
CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY OF RECEPTIONIST CASHIER,
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council
concurs, that the classification of Senior Receptionist Cashier
and Receptionist Cashier should be included in the city's
Classification and Salary Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, , California, as follows:
I
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council authorizes and directs the City
Manager to add the classification of Senior Receptionist Cashier
as described id Attachment A, attached hereto and made a part
thereof.
3. That the City Council authorizes and directs the City
Manager to revise the classification of Receptionist Cashier
described in Attachment B, attached hereto and made a part thereof.
4. That the Miscellaneous Salary Plan is amended by the

addition of Senior Receptionist Cashier and the revision of the
salary range for Receptionist- Cashier as set forth in Attachment C
attached hereto

Under general supervisibn, to receive telephone calls and visitors
and route to the properlparty; to perform accounting work involving the collection of fees;/to perform routine clerical work; and to do

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS I
Positions assigned to this classification involve more complex and
responsible work, requiring taking independent actions. Receptionist Cashier is: responsible for auditing the cash balances and deposits received from a variety of city collection points. position is responsible for completing the city wide daily bank deposit.
