RESOLUTION NO. 8018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. U/M-6 FOR 1985 SLURRY SEAL AND OVERLAY
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for the
1985 Slurry Seal and Overlay Program, Contract No. U/M-6; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for the project was submitted by
Palomar Grading & Paving, Inc., in the amount of $732,239.50; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the street repair budget, account
no. 001-840-5110-2410 for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Zarlsbad as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $732,239.50 by Palomar Grading i% Paving, Inc. for
Contract No. U/M-6 for the 1985 Slurry Seal and Overlay Program is hereby
accepted, and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
a contract thereafter.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad at a regular meeting held the 21st day of May , 1985, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council MEmkrs Casler, -is, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
