RESOLUTION NO. 8939
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING
CERTAIN ITEMS AS OBSOLETE AND AUTHORIZING
THE DISPOSAL OF SUCH ITEMS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined that
certain items can no longer be used and are obsolete; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the City of Carlsbad to dispose of these
items .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Carlsbad, California,
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the items listed in Exhibit B be declared surplus and not required
for public use.
3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to proceed to
dispose of the items of obsolete equipment, as appropriate, including transfer
of said surplus property to schools, charitable organizations and other non-
profit organizations.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council on th
10th day of February , 1987, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine and Mamaux
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
