A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. U/M-15 FOR THE 1986-87 SLURRY SEAL PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad, California,
for the 1986-87 Slurry Seal Program; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive bid received for the project was sub-
mitted by California Pavement Maintenance Company, Inc. of Sacramento and
San Diego, California, in the amount of $218,776.67; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in account number 001-820-5110-2412 for
the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $218,776.67 by California Pavement Maintenance Company,
Inc. of Sacramento and San Diego, California, for the 1986-87 Slurry Seal
Program, Contract No. U/M-15, is hereby accepted and the Mayor and the City
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract therefore.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the 4 th day
of August , 1987, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine, Mamaux and Larson
