Subject: Carlsbad Sand Survey and Beach Profile Program
Dear John:
In response to your letter of June 2, 1989, I am pleased t
hereby submit our proposal to continue the subject progra through FY 1989-90.
Our proposal is based on the assumption that the program will b
continued using the current range lines and survey/reporting fre quencies as presently contracted. All other elements of ou
existing contract in regards to Dr. Sonu's bi-monthly visits number of copies of reports, Dr. Sonu's attendance at Committe
meetings following the submission of the April and October surve results, etc., shall remain the same with the following excep
tion. We propose to continue bi-monthly reconnaissance trips bu
would like to aiternate this task among various Tekmarine person nel, including Dr. Sonu, in order to intimately acquaint other
with the Carlsbad shoreline. We believe this arrangement will b
mutually benefical to Tekmarine and the City of Carlsbad in th long run.
We propose to accomplish the FY 1989-90 survey program for a fe
of $21,256. This amount represents a slight increase over the F
1988-89 program due to a cost of living increase in employe salaries. Consulting services in addition to the foregoing shal
be charged in accordance with the attached standard conditions o
engagement.
Please call if you have any questions or concerns with ou
proposal and thank you for your loyalty to Tekmarine.
