RESOLUTION NO. 89-412
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
~ CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A STANDARDS VARIANCE FOR ADAMS STREEl
I BETWEEN HARRISON STREET AND PARK DRIVE.

5 /I WHEREAS, City Council has requested that staff investigate the possik
6 developing a special hillside standard for Adams Street between Harrison Street a]

WHEREAS, staff has developed alternative standards for the portion of 8
Drive; and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has voted to recommend that the 1. 11
12 design width for that portion of Adams Street be reduced and that concrete used 5
13 and gutter be colored.

Street which are acceptable to the City from a liability standpoint; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Carlsbad as follows:
17 /I A. That the above recitations are true and correct.
18 B. That the City Council approves reducing the curb to curb width on
19 Street between Harrison Street and Park Drive from 40 feet to 34 feet, allowin;
