WHEREAS, Council Policy Statement No. 36 specifies that salary 7 9 management employees; and 8 increases granted to the Fire bargaining unit shall be passed through to Fire WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Firefighters' Association received an 8.7% lo 11 general wage increase retroactive to June 25, 1990; and 11 II 12 /I WHEREAS, funds for this salary adjustment are available in the City's 13 Ij General Fund Contingency Account; and 14 15 WHEREAS, changes are necessary to the Management Salary Plan. of Carlsbad, California, as follows: l6 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City I? !I 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 18 11 19 I1 2. That the 8.7% general wage adjustment granted to CFA will be 20 passed through to the positions of Fire Chief and Fire Battalion Chief, 21 22 retroactive to June 25, 1990. 3. That the amount of $39,895 be transferred from the General 23 Fund Contingency Account to support these salary adjustments. 24 25 4.
