RESOLUTION NO. 91-380
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN OTHER
NORTH COUNTY CITIES, THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO, SANDAG, THE UNITED STATES FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICI AND THE STATE FISH AND GAME DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbac
concerned about the conservation of habitat for wildl.
especially species that are listed as endangered, threatened
candidates for such listing; and
WHEREAS, a number of individual cities are prepa'
biological studies, others are preparing wildlife conserva'
plans, others are considering doing studies and plans and
remaining cities could be impacted by the results of t
wildlife habitat conservation efforts: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carl
believes it is desirable to engage in a process of coordina
all of these conservation efforts, sharing information and joi
seeking funding sources for these efforts;
WHEREAS, SANDAG is the most logical agency to facili
the coordination of these wildlife conservation planning effor

The MOA would not be legally binding on any of the parties nor' would it take awaj
