RESOLUTION NO. 91-408
ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF THE CITY
ATTORNEY AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF ALL
ACCRUED VACATION; AND APPOINTING AN
ACTING CITY ATTORNEY.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to accept the
resignation of the City Attorney effective January 3, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has agreed to pay the City Attornel
for all accrued vacation leave; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is determined to conduct an
executive search and recruitment for a new City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
appropriate to appoint an Acting City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the resignation of the City Attorney is accepted
effective January 3, 1992, and payment of all accrued vacation
leave.
3. That the City Council appoints Assistant City Attorney
Ronald Ball as Acting City Attorney effective January 4, 1992.

4. That the salary for the Acting City Attorney shall be
$3,625 biweekly.
5. That the Acting City Attorney shall receive an auto
allowance of $225 per month.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 17th day of December 1
1991, by the following vote, to wit:
