RESOLUTION NO. 93-181
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE OPEN SPACE ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE PERIOD OF ONE YEAR.
WHEREAS, on June 26, 1990 the City Council created

1. The term of the Open Space Advisory Committc
extended for the period of one year from the date of enactme]
this resolution. At anytime before the end of the one-
period, the City Council may extend the tenure of the committl
it decides that implementation of the recommendations of
original Citizens Committee for Open Space has not been comp:

2. The purpose of the Open Space Advisory Committc
to advise the City Council, the Planning Commission, the Parks
Recreation Commission, other commissions, boards and committec
deemed necessary, and the city staff on the implementation of
recommendations of the Open Space and Conservation Resc
Management Plan accepted by the City Council on September 1, I
3. The Open Space Advisory Committee shall consis
nine members appointed by the Mayor with the consent of
Council. Two members shall be appointed from the Plar
Commission and two members shall be appointed from the Parks
Recreation Commission, and five members from the commur
Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner. Current men

5. The committee shall act without compensation.
