RESOLUTION NO. 9 4 - 15 1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
AND ROAD PROGRAM OF PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEARS 1995
THROUGH 2001.
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE SEVEN-YEAR TRANSNET LOCAL STREET
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1987, the voters of San Diego County approved th
Diego Transportation Improvement Program Ordinance and Expenditure Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance provides that the SANDAG Commission shall apprc
multi-year program of projects submitted by local jurisdictions identifying those transpor
9 11 projects eligible to use transportation sales tax (TransNet) funds; and

11 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad was provided with an estimate of annual TransNe
12 // street and road revenues for Fiscal Years 1995 through 2001 ; and
13 /I WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has held a public hearing in accordance with Sectiol
14 11 of the Ordinance.
15 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsb;
16 follows:
17 1. Pursuant to Section 8 of the TransNet Ordinance, the City of Carlsbad certifie$

the required minimum annual level of local discretionary funds to be expended for streel

3. Pursuant to Section 16 of the TransNet Ordinance, the City of Carlsbad certifit
each project of $250,000 or more will be clearly designated during construction with Trs
project funding identification signs.
4. The City of Carlsbad does hereby certify that all other applicable provisions
TransNet Ordinance have been met.
5. The City of Carlsbad agrees to hold harmless and defend the SANDAG Comm
against challenges related to local TransNet funded projects.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City C
held on the 7th day of JUNE , 1994 by the following vote, to wit:
