RESOLUTION NO. 96-121
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE ENTRANCE TO LA COSTA CANYON HIGH
SCHOOL ON CAMINO DE LOS COCHES, PROJECT NO. 3496.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it nec
desirable, and in the public interest to award a contract for the construction of a traffic I
the entrance to La Costa Canyon High School on Camino de 10s Coches; and
WHEREAS, seven (7) sealed bids were received on March 14, 1996 for the projc
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was subm
MCR Electrical Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $69,490.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of CS
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by MCR Electrical Contractors, Inc., in the am
$69,490 is hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract or
of the City for the construction of said traffic signal.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City (
heldonthe 9th dayof APRIL , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
