A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING MAYOR PRO TEM FlNNlLA AND THE ARTS MANAGER TO TRAVEL TO KARLOVY VARY, THE CZECH REPUBLIC TO ATTEND THE ANNUAL DEDICATION OF THE SPRING, APRIL 29 TO MAY 6,1997.
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the Sister City Karlovy Vary has invited delegates of Cal ‘ to attend the opening of the Spa; and
7 WHEREAS, two delegates were selected, Mayor Pro Tern Finnila and Arts Ma

WHEREAS, funds are available in the amount not to exceed $2,500 in the FY 1996/S 9
Beardsley; and
10 Council budget.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsb:
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the City Council authorizes Mayor Pro Tern Finnila and the Arts Manager travel to Karlovy Vary, the Czech Republic to attend the annual dedication of 1 Spring, April 29 to May 6, 1997. 3. Funds are authorized to be expended towards this travel.
