A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 2
RESOLUTION NO. 98-78
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR SETTLEMENT OF THE
4 I/ WORKERS' COMPENSATION CLAIM OF PETER MCKENZIE

8 Insurance Fund to pay the settlement,
WHEREAS, TRISTAR, Third Party Administrator for the City of Carlsbad, has
recommended a settlement of the Workers' Compensation claim of Peter McKenzie; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds available in the Workers' Compensation Self-
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
12 2. That the expenditure of $13,680.00 from the Workers' Compensation Self-Insurance

3. That the Council Accept the Stipulations with Request for Award on file in the Risk 14
Fund is authorized for the settlement of said claim.
City of Carlsbad on the 24th day of March 1998, by the following vote, to wit:
18 AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin and Hall
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
