RESOLUTION NO. 99-21
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA FOR APPROVAL AND
EXECUTION OF UTILITY AGREEMENT WITH CALTRANS
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CANNON ROAD RECYCLED
REACH SAH4, SOUTH AGUA HEDIONDA INTERCEPTOR
AND 35821
‘WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN, PROJECT NO. 88-602 AND
SEWER PROJECT NO. 92-408, CITY PROJECT NOS. 35341
WHEREAS, in February, 1998, the State of California Department of Transpor
(CALTRANS) awarded a contract to construct road improvements to Cannon Road 1
their right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for both the Cannon Road Recycled \
Transmission Main and Reach SAH4, South Agua Hedionda Interceptor Sewer have
prepared by the Carlsbad engineering staff; and
WHEREAS, the State of California Department of Transportation (CALTR
prepared a Utility Agreement with the City of Carlsbad and the Carlsbad Municipal l
15 11 District to construct the recycled water and interceptor sewer pipelines projects by a
16 I/ the projects to their contractor’s work by change order; and
I.7 I1 WHEREAS, the plans and specifications have been submitted to the Contraci

proposal; and 19
State of California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) to obtain a change
20 WHEREAS, a change order in the amount of $1,005,887 for construction cost

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Carl:
