RESOLUTION NO. 99-110
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, ACCEPTING TWO BIDS AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF PURCHASE ORDERS.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad requires electronic equipment and systems for the new Carlsb:
Library, and;
.WHEREAS, proper purchasing procedures have resulted in the receipt of bids from qualifit
vendors;
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds appropriated in the capital project account;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. The bid of Hoffman Video Systems, 1049 Flower St., Glendale CA 91221 is hereby accepted
2. The bid of Audio Associates of San Diego, 8200 Center Drive, La Mesa CA 91942 is heret
accepted.
3. The Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized and directed to issue purchase orders fc
electronic equipment to these contractors.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City I
Carlsbad held on the 6th day of April , 1999, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Hall, Finnila, Nygaard and Kulchin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Lewis
