RESOLUTION NO. 99-528
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE REMOVAL OF A DISEASED AND DEAD PALM TREE AT 3702 JEFFERSON STREET
5 WHEREAS, staff has identified a palm tree at 3702 Jefferson Street to be disease
6 dead; and
7 WHEREAS, staff conducted a more in depth evaluation of this tree and concludf
8 Palm tree poses a threat to the health and safety of Carlsbad citizens; and
9 WHEREAS, the City hired a private certified arborist to inspect the subject tree, in
10 the arborist concluded the tree must be removed as soon as possible.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Carlsb
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin 18
held on the 14th day of mxMBER d 1999, by the following vote, to wit: 17
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Cm 16
at 3702 Jefferson Street and replace said tree with a different species at a later time. 15
