RESOLUTION NO. 2000-103
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND
AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT CARLSBAD VILLAGE DRIVE
AND VALLEY STREET, PROJECT NO. 3620.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determine
necessary, desirable and in the public interest to construct the traffic signal at Carlsbad Vi11
Drive and Valley Street; and
WHEREAS, five (5) sealed bids were received on February IO, 2000 for the project; ar
II WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was submitted
10 II Maverick Electric, Inc., in the amount of $1 14,000.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsl:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by Maverick Electric, Inc., in the amount of $1 14,00(
hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the (
for the construction of the traffic signal at Carlsbad Village Drive and Valley Street.
