A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A
CASH DONATION OF ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,100)
IN SUPPORT OF THE OPPORTUNITY GRANTS SCHOLARSHIP FUND AND
THE SUMMER DAY CAMP BOOKLET.
'4, WHEREAS, the Opportunity Grants Program began the week of June 21, 1999; and

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has recommended acceptance of this 8
Capital Bank of North County; and 7
hundred dollars ($500) from Amy Kraft, $400 from Toyota & Lexus of Carlsbad, and $200 from 6
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has received a cash donation of five
donation by the City Council; and

WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this donation and acknowledge the
generosity and support of the community individuals and organizations who donate to this
12 I1 program.
13 ' I/ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, the following:
14 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
15 11 2. That the City Council does hereby accept the financial support totaling one
l6 It thousand one hundred ($1,100) and authorizes the Finance Director to
I.7 /I appropriate the above funds for the specified use.
18 PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
19 City of Carlsbad, California, held on the2mday of April , 2000, by the following vote to wit: I
21 NOES: None
22 ABSENT: None PL L
