2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING OUT OF 3 STATE TRAVEL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE AIIM 2001
4 CONFERENCE IN NEW YORK CITY

WHEREAS, the Assistant City Clerk has been invited to speak at the AIIM 200 1 Conference,
regarding the implementation of the City’s Document Management System; and
7
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with staffs request to authorize out of state travel for the 8
9 Assistant City Clerk to attend and participate in the Association of Information and Image Management
10 2001 Conference in New York City.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, as

1. That the above recitations are correct.
2. That out of state travel is hereby authorized, in accordance with City policy, for the Assistant
City Clerk to attend the ARM 2001 Conference in New York City, April 29 - May 3, 2001.
3. That the City Council hereby approves the expenditure of $2,550, from the Records

Management budget to cover the associated travel costs for this conference.
