RESOLUTION NO. 2001-167
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE MASTER FEE
SCHEDULE TO ESTABLISH ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION
PENALTIES
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad, Califonria has established, pursuant to
Government Code section 53069.4, administrative procedures by which violations of the
Carlsbad Municipal Code are subject to administrative fines and penalties; and
WHEREAS, where the violation of the Carlsbad Municipal Code would
otherwise be an infraction, Government Code section 53069.4 limits the administrative
fines or penalties to (1) an amount not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100) for a first
violation; (2) a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200) for a second violation of
the same ordinance within one year; and/or (3) a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars
($500) for each additional violation of the same ordinance within one year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad desires to establish
administrative citation fines and penalties pursuant to Government Code section
53069.4,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
