A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A CONSULTANT
AGREEMENT WITH MEYER, MOHADDES ASSOCIATES, INC.,
TO PREPARE A TRAFFIC SIGNAL OPTIMIZATION STUDY AND
TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT CENTER PRELIMINARY
DESIGN REPORT.
8 WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad solicited Request for

and transportation management center preliminary design report for the City; and 8
Qualifications from consulting traffic engineering firms to perform a traffic signal optimization study
9 WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad recommends the firm of
10 Meyer, Mohaddes Associates, Inc., as the most qualified to perform the work; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby finds it necessary, desirable,

3. Following the City Manager's signature on the agreement, the City Clerk is
authorized and directed to forward copies of said agreement to Meyer, Mohaddes Associates,
Inc., and the Engineering Department Transportation Division for their files.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 25th day of JUNE , 2002 by the following vote, to wit:
