RESOLUTION NO. 2003-048
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CORRECTING APPROPRIATIONS
FOR THE COASTAL RAIL TRAIL, PROJECT NO. 3455.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has
determined it necessary and in the public interest to revise appropriations for the Coastal Rail Trail
project, City Project No. 3455 based on recent correspondence from SANDAG; and
WHEREAS, $800,000 in TENCMAQ funds have been appropriated in the 2001 -02 Capital
Improvement Program which appropriation should have been $860,512; and
WHEREAS, $200,000 in TransNet Bicycle Program funds have been appropriated in the
2001 -02 Capital Improvement Program which appropriation should have been $1 1 1,488.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the .City . Council of the City of Carlsbad,
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That appropriations for the federal portion of the project are increased $60,512 and
appropriations for the TransNet portion are decreased $88,512.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 18th day of FEBRUARY , 2003 by the following vote, to wit:
