A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE GENERAL PLAN
IMPLEMENTATION STATUS REPORT FOR FY 2003-2004.
WHEREAS, the California Government Code Section 65400 requires that all
California cities and counties provide an annual report to the legislative body, the Office of
Planning and Research and the California Department of Housing and Community Development
on the status of the plan and progress in its implementation, including the progress in meeting
its share of the regional housing needs determined pursuant to Section 65584 and local efforts
to remove governmental constraints to the maintenance, improvement, and development of
housing pursuant to paragraph (3) of subdivision (c) of Section 65583; and
WHEREAS, the current report covers the period of July 1, 2003 to June 30,
2004; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad, California, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad accepts the report and directs the
Planning Director to submit the report to the California Office of Planning and Research and the
Department of Housing and Community Development.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 9th day of November , 2004, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Hall and Packard.
NOES: None A n
Member Kulchin.
