A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT ON TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS AT HOSP
4 WAY. MARRON ROAD & PLAZA DRIVE. PROJECT NO. 3899-1.
5 WHEREAS, the construction of the Traffic Signal Improvements at Hosp Way, Marron
6 Road & Plaza Drive has been completed to the City's satisfaction by HMS Construction, Inc. on
7 July 20, 2006; and
8 WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
9 WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
11 California, as follows:
12 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
13 2. That the Traffic Signal Improvements at Hosp Way, Marron Road & Plaza Drive,
14 specifically identified as Project No. 3899-1, is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the
15 City Council of the City of Carlsbad.

3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
17
execute and record the Notice of Completion for Traffic Signal Improvements at Hosp Way,
18
Marron Road & Plaza Drive, Project No. 3899-1.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 26th day of September, 2006, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Kulchin, Packard, Sigafoose
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
