2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING THE
3 POSITION OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES MANAGER
4 AND AMENDING THE MANAGEMENT SALARY
SCHEDULE AND CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE.

6 WHEREAS, it is desirable to ensure top quality customer services to the development
7 services counter activities; and
O0 WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish a new position of Development Services
9 Manager to provide that support of customer relations in Community Development.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
12
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
14 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
15 2. That the City Council adopts the classification of Development Services
16 Manager and amends the Management Salary Structure to place this position in salary grade 5, as
17 shown in Attachment A, attached hereto and made a part thereof, and to amend the Conflict of
18 Interest Code to add this classification under the disclosure categories 1, 2, 3,4.
