RESOLUTION NO. 2008-227

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT POINSETTIA
4 LAND AND BLACK RAIL ROAD, PROJECT NO. 3939-1 AS
COMPLETE.

WHEREAS, the construction of the Traffic Signal at Poinsettia Lane and Black Rail Road

project has been completed to the City's satisfaction by T&M Electric, Inc. on June 30, 2008; and
7
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
8
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,10
California, as follows:11
. - 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
13 2. That the Traffic Signal at Poinsettia Lane and Black Rail Road, specifically
14 identified as Project No. 3939-1, is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council
15 of the City of Carlsbad.
16 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
17 execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Traffic Signal at Poinsettia Lane and
18 Black Rail Road, Project No. 3939-1.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 5th day of August. 2008, by the following vote to
wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard, Nygaard
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
