RESOLUTION NO. 2010-056
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE EL CAMINO REAL 24-INCH
TRANSMISSION MAIN, FLOW CONTROL STATION, WIDENING
NORTH OF COUGAR DRIVE, AND MEDIAN IMPROVEMENTS,

PROJECT NOS. 3843, 3920, & 3920-A. AS COMPLETE.

WHEREAS, the construction of the El Camino Real 24-inch Transmission Main, Flow
6
Control Station, Widening North of Cougar Drive, and Median Improvements, Project Nos. 3843,
7
3920, & 3920-A, has been completed to the City's satisfaction by TC Construction Company, Inc.
8
on March 3, 2010; and
9
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
10
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,12
California, as follows:13
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the El Camino Real 24-inch Transmission Main, Flow Control Station,
Widening North of Cougar Drive, and Median Improvements, specifically identified as Project Nos.
3843, 3920, and 3920-A is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
execute and record the Notice of Completion for the El Camino Real 24-inch Transmission Main,
Flow Control Station, Widening North of Cougar Drive, and Median Improvements, Project Nos.
3843, 3920, & 3920-A.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council and Carlsbad Municipal Water District, held on the 23rd day of
March, 2010, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
