A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD
4 WIDENING. PROJECT NO. 3811 AS COMPLETE.
5 WHEREAS, the construction of the Palomar Airport Road Widening, Project No. 3811,
6 has been completed to the City's satisfaction by Sierra Pacific West, Inc. on February 26, 2010;
7 and
8 WHEREAS, the final change order was executed on July 6, 2010; and
9 WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
10 WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
12 California, as follows:
13 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
14 2. That the Palomar Airport Road Widening, specifically identified as
15 Project No. 3811 is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of

Carlsbad.
17 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
18 execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Palomar Airport Road Widening,
19 Project No. 3811.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 27th day of July, 2010, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
