2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A CASH DONATION OF
$1,620 IN SUPPORT OF THE CARLSBAD SENIOR CENTER AND
APPROPRIATION OF RECEIVED FUNDS.

5 WHEREAS, KoKo Beach Restaurant held a fundraiser in support ofthe Carlsbad
7 Senior Center; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this cash donation in the amount
9 of $1,620;
JQ WHEREAS, on January 5, 2012 the Senior Commission recommended
11 acceptance of the donation totaling $1,620 by the City Council.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
13 Carlsbad, California as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept $1,620 in cash donations.
3. That the City Council authorizes the finance director to appropriate the
$1,620 upon receipt to the Senior Center Special Revenue fund.
