RESOLUTION NO. 2012-125
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO
THE 2011-2012 ACTION PLAN FOR THE CITY'S COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM TO THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City must prepare an amendment to the 2011-2012 Action Plan
7 to add new projects to be undertaken that were not included as part of the original
Action Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken all testimony into account.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council approves the submittal of an amendment to the 2011-
2012 Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program to the
j3 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development which revises projects
in the Action Plan at funding levels as indicated in attached Exhibit 2.

That the City Manager is authorized to execute funding agreements with
15 organizations for approved funding amounts as listed in the attached Exhibit
2, subject to review as to form by the City Attorney, and the Finance Director
16 is authorized to appropriate and disburse said funds to the subject projects
upon final approval by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
17 Development and subject to the noted funding agreements.
