2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
THE 2012 PAVEMENT OVERLAY, PROJECT NO. 6001-12OL, AS
4 COMPLETE AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD A NOTICE
OF COMPLETION AND RELEASE BONDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
5 STATE LAW AND CITY ORDINANCES.

7 WHEREAS, the construction of the 2012 Pavement Overlay was completed to the city's
8 satisfaction by All American Asphalt on April 16, 2014; and
9 WHEREAS, the formal Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, the final contract change order is currently being negotiated, the amount of

which will fall within the City Council approved contingency.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED bythe City Council ofthe City ofCarlsbad, California
14 as follows:
15 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the 2012 Pavement Overlay, specifically identified as Project No. 600-12OL is

deemed complete and is hereby accepted bythe City Council ofthe City of Carlsbad.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
and record the Notice of Completion forthe 2012 Pavement Overlay, Project No. 6001-12OL.
