A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT
TO INCREASE THE HOURS OF PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE PALOMAR
TRANSFER STATION (PTS) FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M. MONDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY TO 7:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M. MONDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5960 EL CAMINO REAL.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code, the Planning Commission
did, on January 21, 2015, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider Conditional
Use Permit Amendment (CUP 260(E)) and adopted Planning Commission Resolution No. 7080,
recommending approval of Conditional Use Permit Amendment (CUP 260(E)); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, on the __ ...!l...!::O~th~---day of
__ M_a_r_c_h ___ _, 2015, held a duly noticed public hearing to consider adoption of a Conditional
Use Permit Amendment (CUP 260(E)); and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and
arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, the City Council considered all factors relating to
the adoption of a Conditional Use Permit Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the recommendation of the Planning Commission for the approval of a
Conditional Use Permit Amendment (CUP 260(E)) is approved and adopted, and that the findings and
conditions of the Planning Commission contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 7080 on file
with the City Clerk and incorporated herein by reference, are the findings and conditions of the City
Council.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad on the lOth day of March, 2015, by the following vote to wit:
