Home My WebLink About2017-06-27; City Council; Resolution 2017-125RESOLUTION NO. 2017-125 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING REVISIONS TO THE CITY OF CARLSBAD MANAGEMENT SALARY SCHEDULE, ADOPTING REVISIONS TO THE CITY OF CARLSBAD PART-TIME SALARY SCHEDULE AND APPROVING PAY INCREASES FOR PART-TIME EMPLOYEES WHO ARE BELOW THE NEW MINIMUM RATES Exhibit 1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determined the need to modify the City of Carlsbad Management Salary Schedule; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determined the need to modify the City of Carlsbad Part-Time Salary Schedule. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That Attachment A, the Management Salary Schedule, attached hereto is hereby adopted. 3. That Attachment B, the Part-time Salary Schedule, attached hereto is hereby adopted. 4. That the City Council authorizes the Human Resources Director to increase the hourly pay rate of any employees who are below the minimum rates as of July 3, 2017. 5. The City Council authorizes the Administrative Services Director to appropriate $250,000 on July 3, 2017 from the General Fund Reserves to pay for salary increases for part time employees currently below the minimum of the revised ranges. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 27th day of June, 2017, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: M. Hall, K. Blackburn, M.
