RESOLUTION NO. 2019-007
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS OF MEMBERS
OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE VARIOUS REGIONAL COMMITTEE
ASSIGNMENTS PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE §40605
WHEREAS, Government Code § 40605 requires that the Mayor appoint, with City Council
concurrence, City Council Members to various regional committee assignments as listed in Attachment
A;and
WHEREAS, the regional agencies request that the appointments be made no later than the first
regular City Council meeting in 2019; and
WHEREAS, the City Council shall consider each of the Mayoral nominations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Mayoral appointments to the regional committee assignments as listed in
Attachment A, are hereby approved for terms ending in December 2019 or until
replacements are appointed.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 8th day of January, 2019, by the following vote, to wit:
