A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE 2020 REGULAR CITY COUNCIL
MEETING CALENDAR
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Council has determined it will establish its scheduled regular
meetings annually by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Ralph M. Brown Act (Government Code §54954) provides for the
establishment of an annual regular meeting calendar procedure; and
WHEREAS, special meetings of the City Council will be called as necessary following the
requirements of the Brown Act (Government Code §54956).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the 2020 calendar establishing the dates and locations for regular City Council
meetings (Attachment A) is hereby approved.
3. That the 2020 calendar will be posted to the city's website.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 12th day of November 2019, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Schumacher.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
