DESIGN REVIEW BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 003
A RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING TO THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION APPROVAL OF A REDEVELOPMENT PERMIT TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A 3859 SQUARE FOOT OFFICE
BUILDING ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST
CORNER OF BEECH AVENUE AND ROOSEVELT STREET.
APPLICANT: WEBER
CASE NO.: RP 82-5
WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the
City of Carlsbad and referred to the Design Review Board- and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code
the Design Review Board did on the 22nd day of December, 1982, hol
a duly noticed public hearing to consider said application on
property described as:
All the southeasterly 60 feet of Seaside Lands, according to map thereof No. 1722 filed July 28, 1921.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons
desiring to be heard, said Board considered all factors relating t
RP 82-5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Design Revie
Board of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing,
the Board recommends APPROVAL of RP 82-5, based on the following findings.

1) The proposed project satisfies all the development standards and design criteria of the V-R (RP) zone.

2) That the proposed project is compatible with the goals and
policies of the Village Design Manual.
3) That the project is compatible with surrounding uses.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on
the 22nd day of December, 1982, by the following vote, to wit;
AYES: ROMBOTISl SCHLEHUBER, MC COY and HOLMES
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: MARCUS
