A RESOLUTION OF DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A
REDEVELOPMETN PERMIT TO ALLOW A REHABILITATION
AND USE CHANGE ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF STATE STREET AND
GRAND AVENUE.
APPLICANT: BETZ: PLAZA DE LA FUENTE
CASE NO. : RP 84-13
WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the
:ity of Carlsbad and Referred to the Design Review Board; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
IS provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code,
:he Design Review Board did on the 8th day of August, 1984, hold
I duly noticed public hearing to consider said application on
iroperty described as:
Lot 15 and 16, Block "I", amended Map of Town of Carlsbad
in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of
California, according to Map thereof No. 775, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, February 15, 1984.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing upon hearing and considering
k11 testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to
)e heard, said Board considered all factors relating to RP 84-13.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Design Review
3oard of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Board recommends APPROVAL of RP 84-13, based on the following findings:
?INDINGS :
1) The proposed project satisfies all the development standards and design criteria of the V-R (RP) Zone.

2) That the proposed project is compatible with the goals
and policies of the Village Design Manual.
3) That the project is compatible with the surrounding uses
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad, California, held
on the 8th day of August, 1984, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: MC COY, SCHLEHUBER, HOLMES and ROMBOTIS.
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: MARCUS
